Kayak Eco-Tour

Take a 2 hour guided kayak tour on Big Bear Lake. Your guide will take you out on a leisurely tour of the Grout Bay and lake areas where you will learn about the flora, fauna, and some history of the lake. Reservations required. For more information, go to

Evening Program: Big Bear Bears & Beyond

Join the Discovery Center for an educational and entertaining evening program to teach visitors about bears in the San Bernardino National Forest and history of the Grizzlies that once roamed our valley. Join naturalist and volunteer, David Johnstone, for this fun and informative presentation.

Join us for a 45 minute walk to learn about the local plant life, wildlife, and some very interesting historical facts. This is a great activity for families and individuals who want to gain a greater appreciation of our National Forest.
