Join us to plant hundreds of milkweeds, the host plant for the monarch butterfly out in the forest. Volunteers will caravan in your own vehicle 13 miles to the planting site. High clearance vehicles are recommended for travel to the site on dirt roads. A limited number of seats are available in our vehicles upon request. A map, lunch, tools, and gloves will be provided. Please bring water, hat and sunscreen. A portable toilet will be on site. We will return by 3 PM. Please contact us ahead of time to confirm attendance and request a ride. Everyone receives a free use pass for a National Forest/National Park
